What I do
Te reo Māori has opened doors into radio and television broadcasting, acting, performance, teaching and singing as well as allowing me to travel the world.
My quals
Diploma in Teaching, Bachelor of Education and a Master in Education from Waikato University. I’m currently enrolled in a PhD programme at Massey University.
Study tips
Watch Māori Television, watch Māori language programmes. Build up the foundations, then go total immersion.
