Dr Nicole Coupe and Dr Lynne Russell discuss suicide prevention for Māori in the third of three online seminars. Nicole introduces her research Te Ira Tangata, which used the process of pōwhiri as a model for engaging with Māori people who have made suicide attempts. Lynne presents from her personal experience as a bereaved whānau member, and her background as a Māori mental health researcher.
