In this 15 minute cut down version of the documentary ‘Canvassing The Treaty’ we get a closer look at the fruitful cross-cultural collaboration between two New Zealand artists Sofia Minson and Samapeap “Peap” Tarr.
Sofia is of Maori and European descent and Peap is of Cambodian and New Zealand descent. Together they create a 2m x 2m artwork called ‘Te Pou Tuatahi’ based on their ideas about the Treaty of Waitangi.
