One of a series of animated whakatauki (proverbs) Dan Mace created as part of the Auckland Stardome’s matariki programme a couple of years back.

“The video version doesn’t really do the clip justice to be honest – they were placed within an animated frame and projected into a 180degree dome, which filled your entire field of view… you kinda had to be there I guess.

It was a great buzz and technical challenge to work in this format, I hope to get the chance again sometime…
Oh yeah, as is so often the case with my work, this clip features very rough guide sound, the finished audio with proper VO talent came after I delivered.”
